My foundation is Human Factors — an M.S. from San José State, where I studied how people actually behave under real conditions. That shapes how I work: start with research, design the whole system, and let evidence settle debates.
For the last several years I've been a product designer on the initial team behind a connected-vehicle data platform used by 1,000+ engineers, and I led a self-serve tool that cut data access from weeks to days. Along the way I learned to build — today I ship working AI prototypes (agentic assistants, grounded RAG help agents, and a reusable prototyping method), so my design decisions are testable, not theoretical.
Based in Michigan and open to relocation anywhere in the USA. I care about clarity over cleverness, systems over one-off screens, and honesty about what a product can and can't do.
